Charles E. Vela Named as a Trailblazer in Science by Science Spectrum Magazine
Science Spectrum Magazine, one of the nation’s leading science and technology publications, has recognized Charles E. Vela, President and Chief Scientist of Expertech Solutions, as a one of the nation’s Top Minorities in Science.

Letter of Recommendation for Expertech from Dan Horsey, IRS Director of Enterprise Architecture
Over the years Expertech has proven to be an exemplary and loyal consultant to the IRS modernization efforts. Some of its accomplishments in IRS modernization projects are: 1. The Submission and Settlement Harvesting Project (SSHP), which seeks to determine how to improve the submission and settlement of tax returns. 2. Expertech’s role was also essential in chartering MeF, one of most successful and visible IRS modernization projects, and in brining MeF into EA compliance.
