JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for technical and management support of a Federal Government project geared toward the development of an integrated workforce management system. As part of an Integrated Project Team, person in this position supports Government Manager in the management, technical oversight and progress of a project through the Enterprise Life Cycle (ELC) and helps to produce the deliverables and work products associated with each milestone of the ELC. Position is located in New Carrollton, MD.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Minimum of 8 years experience developing Engineering Processes such as requirements analysis, logical, physical and detail design, participation in project reviews, and change control activities.
- Strong writing, presentation, and documentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of ELC and CMM Level 2.
- Experience with the management of software development project life cycle activities.
- Strong understanding of formal Business Analysis, Use Cases, Process Modeling, Requirements Analysis, and Design Specifications.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Experience with a structured life cycle methodology, preferably IRS or DOD ELC, CSC’s Catalyst, and CMM Level 3 methodology.
- Strong background in UML and work experience with modeling tools.
- Experience with Project Management tools.
- Experience/knowledge of RequisitePro.
- Knowledge of mathematical forecasting.
- Knowledge and experience with Work Force Management.
- Knowledge of call center staffing methodologies.
- IRS MBI plus.
