JOB DESCRIPTION:
Seeking a Software Engineer to assist in the design and development of a
Web Portal, for federal client, using W3C standards, including,
XForms, XML, SOAP for electronic data collection.
- 8 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Experience with Xforms and XML.
- 3 years of experience as a systems architect.
- 5 years of object-oriented design experience.
- Experience with Service-Based Architecture a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of Java, .Net, J2EE, JSP, XML, X-path, XSLT, Web Services, SOAP to develop web-based applications.
- Experience working at the CMM 2 a plus.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Must be comfortable and able to communicate clearly and unambiguously orally and in writing to various audiences.
- Must be comfortable working as part of a team to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
- Capable of working under demanding situations.
- Must be able to obtain security clearance.
- BS in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
