the request of the client, Expertech Solutions is prepared to
implement either the CMM or CMMI models to support the Systems
Engineering and Software Engineering processes as well as the
Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD) environment.
Systems
Engineering discipline covers the development of total systems.
It focuses on transforming the customer needs, expectations and
constrains into product solutions and the support of these products
throughout the life cycle. Software Engineering covers the development
of software systems. It focuses on applying systematic, disciplined,
and quantifiable approaches to the development, operation and maintenance
of software. IPPD is a systematic product development approach
to achieve timely collaboration of relevant stakeholders throughout
the product life cycle. (CMMI SM SE/SW/IPPD. V1.02).
Expertech Solutions applies CMM Level III in all of its internal development
processes.
