Joint Task Force Medical Capital Region (JTF CAPMED)

The Joint Task Force National Capital Region Medical (JTF CapMed) was established in September 2007 by the Deputy Secretary of Defense to oversee the delivery of integrated healthcare in the National Capital Area, ensure readiness, and execute the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) business plans to achieve the vision of establishing a world-class medical center at the hub of the nation's premier regional healthcare system serving our military and our nation.

Test Program Sets for Aircraft Command & Control Systems
The Warner Robins AFB 542 ATSG/GBTCA Program Office has contracted Expertech Solutions to perform Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) on the quality, accuracy, consistency, and error free of the Test Program Sets (TPSs) and other authorized Benchtop Reconfigurable Automatic Tester (BRAT) program development efforts. Expertech reviews the Unit Under Test’s (UUT's) source data, CDRLS, and the technical data generated by various TPS Developers in order to minimize software and hardware errors and improve product quality prior to the final TPS delivery (including associated Interface Test Adapters (ITAs) and data).

This projects supports the strategic Airborne Warning and Control Systems AWACS (E3), the most sophisticated US command and control aircraft.


Air Force Medical Service EGL Project

Expertech is currently supporting the Office of the Air Force Surgeon General in developing methodologies to foresee future critical medical needs of the Air Force; sprout innovation attuned with the critical needs of military medicine; and create new knowledge aligned with the vision of a preeminent military and health enterprise.

The Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) works in close coordination with the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, the major air command surgeons, the Departments of the Army, Navy and other government agencies to deliver medical service for more than 2.63 million eligible beneficiaries. Beneficiaries include active duty, family members and retirees, during both peacetime and wartime. The AFMS consists of approximately 40,000 officers, enlisted and civilian personnel, plus an additional 20,000 members assigned to the Air Force Reserves and the Air National Guard. The AFMS has an annual budget of approximately $6.9 billion and runs 75 military treatment facilities, including 24 hospitals and medical centers. (taken verbatim from AFMS web site)

The National Intrepid Center of Excellence

The Department of Defense Centers of Excellence (DCoE) for Psychological Health (PH) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) was created in December 2007 in response to a mandate by Congress for the Department of Defense (DoD) to address psychological health and traumatic brain injury. As the hub Center within DCoE, The National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) is a state of the art facility that provides intensive outpatient evaluation, advanced diagnostics, initial treatment plans, treatment modalities, and long term follow-up for patients suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury and Psychological Health issues. Using cutting edge evidence-based practice, technology and research tools, the Center facilitates maximum recovery for Warriors and Families and return to function within their home communities.

Expertech is providing subject matter expertise to assist NICoE’s in achieving its mission. Specific support includes developing special studies in two NICoE program areas: (a) Special Studies in the development of an integrative and holistic medical program at NICoE and (b) Special studies to develop high level education strategy and resourcing guide for the NICoE’s Education department.
